# how-it-works

[01]$ auth signup

Create an account

Sign up in under a minute. 100 credits land in your balance immediately — no card, no trial clock.

[02]$ render --model <id>

Submit a job

Pick a model, pass a prompt or a source image, set duration. Text-to-video, image-to-video, and text-to-image all run through the same console.

[03]$ confirm → 108 cr

Approve the exact cost

The total is computed up front from the published rate. You confirm a number, not an estimate. Billing is deterministic by design.

[04]$ ls ~/library

Collect the output

Every render from every model writes to one library. Download clean files — no watermarks on paid output — and iterate.

# output — sample renders

Frames pulled straight from the render queue, with the model and billed cost attached. Every job's metadata stays with the file.

# faq

? Is there a subscription tier I should compare?

No — there are no tiers because there are no subscriptions. Renderith is strictly prepaid: buy credits (1 credit = $0.01), spend them per second of video or per image at the posted rate. No monthly minimum, no seat fees, no lock-in. Stop rendering, stop paying.

? Do credits expire?

Never. A credit purchased today is spendable in five years. Your balance carries forward indefinitely, and the 100 free credits you get at signup follow the same rule.

? How do I know a job's cost before running it?

Cost is deterministic: rate x units. Every model publishes its rate (e.g. kling-3.0 at 18 cr/sec), and the console shows the exact total — like 6s x 18 = 108 cr ($1.08) — before you confirm. No surprise line items, ever.

? Which inputs are supported?

Three job types: text-to-video, image-to-video (upload a frame, get motion), and text-to-image. All eight models are addressable from the same console, and every output lands in one unified library regardless of which model produced it.

? Are outputs watermarked?

Paid renders ship clean — no watermark, full resolution, yours to use commercially. Renders made with free signup credits follow the same output pipeline described in the docs.

? What do the 100 free signup credits actually buy?

Real runs, not a crippled demo: ~16 seconds on seedance-1.0-pro, ~16 images on gemini-flash-image, or a 7-second sora-2 clip with audio. Enough to benchmark quality against your use case before spending a cent.
